On the Sunday evening following the death of John David Hughes on Saturday 6th, Anita Hughes sat in the dining room and read the many letters and messages of condolence and good wishes sent for John D. Hughes from friends in Australia and overseas.










There were many messages with blessings and good wishes received, which Anita Hughes is seen here reading. Sitting across the table is friend and student Julie O'Donnell.

On the wall in the background is a Chan painting of the Nobbies at Phillip Island Victoria. The Nobbies is the home of the Dragon King. John D. Hughes visited the Nobbies many times over the past 20 years.
