On Sunday 30 November the casket with the embalmed body of John David Hughes was was placed in front of the main Altar in the John D. Hughes meditation hall.

The body was prepared so that the casket would be open for viewing by those wishing to pay respect and for the Buddhist ceremonies during the next six days until the funeral to be held at the Temple on 6 December 2003.





In front of the main altar and around the casket are Rodney Johnson, Richard (from Le Pine Funerals), Anita Hughes, Julie O'Donnell and Frank Carter.
