On Sunday 30 November the body of John D. Hughes was embalmed at Le Pine Funeral Centre in Croydon.
The body was returned to the Temple at 33 Brooking St Upwey in the afternoon where the casket was placed in front of the main Altar in the John D. Hughes meditation hall.










During the embalming process at Le Pine Funeral Centre in Croydon Lisa Nelson and Amber Svensson Chanted Buddha Dhamma for John David Hughes.

Standing near the Temple's Eastern Gate, Anita Hughes talks with Richard from Le Pine Funerals. She is accompanied by Kate Ryan, daughter Amber and Lenore Hamilton.






Members Frank Carter, Jeffrey Radford and Rodney Johnson wait for instructions for the carrying of the casket into the Temple.
















Funeral centre staff lead the lifting of the casket from the car assisted by Members Rodney Johnson, Jeffrey Radford, Frank Carter and Julian Bamford.






The procession carrying the casket with John D. hughes body moved through the Eastern Gate past the image of the Heavenly Monk Venerable Narada and into the Temple grounds.
